The Clark Group, LLC has been awarded a new contract by the United States Department of Agriculture’s Farm Service Agency (FSA) to support the FSA in the development of a programmatic environmental assessment (PEA) for the Farm Storage Facility Loan program (FSFL).
Established in May 2000, the FSFL program provides low-interest financing for farmers to construct or improve their facilities to store a variety of commodities. The program continuously updates the allowable storage facilities and commodities under the program to better serve the needs of the agricultural community.
The purpose of this two-year project is to update the program’s existing PEA to ensure it is compliant with all applicable federal environmental and historic preservation requirements as well as to provide NEPA coverage for new actions covered by the FSFL program.
TCG looks forward to working with the FSA and providing our expertise to ensure NEPA compliance for FSFL projects, as the scope of the program continues to grow to better serve program recipients.
