Rachel Joffey

Environmental Planner

Rachel Joffey is an Environmental Planner based in North Carolina. Rachel has expertise in wildlife research and management with an emphasis on endangered and threatened species conservation.  

Prior to joining the Clark Group team, Rachel worked as a biologist for the Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission developing conservation measures and biological comments for environmental permits to reduce potential adverse impacts to Florida manatee and sea turtle species. In her previous work with the United States Fish & Wildlife Service, Rachel performed beach surveys and collected data to monitor sea turtle nesting and conducted threatened and endangered species surveys. Rachel also has experience developing and executing education and outreach programs for the public to promote an increased understanding of natural resources and wildlife management.

Rachel earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Central Florida and a Master of Science degree in Environmental Science from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. In her free time, Rachel enjoys going on hikes, playing tennis, swimming, and spoiling her crazy black cat named Inky.
