Building Resilient Communities and Infrastructure (BRIC) is a new Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) program intended to provide funding to states, local communities, Tribes, and territories for pre-disaster hazard mitigation projects to increase resiliency, reduce risks, and mitigate damage from natural disasters and hazards.
TCG worked with FEMA and Dewberry to provide technical assistance, research, and analysis in support of the Federal Register Notice public comment period for the launch of FEMA’s BRIC program. Our support included refining coding of public comments, comment adjudication, supporting the Federal Register Notice response memo development, and providing technical support to finalize and publish the final policy.
