Jess Wymer
Associate
Jess Wymer is an Associate located in our Montpelier, Vermont office. She specializes in environmental policy and compliance, public engagement, policy research and analysis, and project and program administration.
Jess joined TCG in 2017 after earning her B.S. in Environmental Studies at the University of Vermont with a concentration in ecology and policy. While working on her undergraduate degree, she served as administrative staff for Vermont Governor Peter Shumlin and his Executive Team. She also received a master’s degree in Environmental Law and Policy (MELP) from Vermont Law School with a concentration in climate law, adaptation, and mitigation.
Jess has managed projects involving climate change planning, clean water, and sustainable transportation on behalf of clients such as the Vermont Department of Environmental Conservation, the Climate Economy Action Center of Addison County, and the Chittenden Area Transportation Management Association.
She has also supported projects related to the National Environmental Policy Act, flood risk and resilience, energy efficiency, and climate change as an environmental specialist and public engagement specialist for clients such as the US Environmental Protection Agency, US Army Corps of Engineers, Bureau of Land Management, Public Service Commission of the District of Columbia, National Capital Planning Commission, Federal Emergency Management Agency, US Department of Justice, and US Department of Agriculture.
Jess is from Bergenfield, NJ, and she relocated to Burlington, VT in 2013. In her free time, she enjoys camping and skiing in the Green Mountains, playing soccer, and going to local music shows.
