August Gause
Environmental Planner
August Gause is an environmental planner based in North Carolina. She has expertise in environmental science, biology, and data analysis.
Prior to joining The Clark Group, August spent over five years working with government, private, and non-profit organizations on projects related to endangered species protection, natural resource management, and ecological research. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in environmental sciences from North Carolina State University and a Master of Science degree in biology from East Carolina University.
In her free time, August enjoys birding, reading fantasy novels, and contributing to citizen science through iNaturalist. A fun fact about August is that she discovered her passion for environmental stewardship while earning her Girl Scout Gold Award in high school, where she implemented a local recycling program.
