TCG is excited to announce that Austin Rizzo and Emily Harris have joined our team as Associates.
Austin Rizzo, Ph.D. has a background in environmental policy and planning, habitat management planning, inventory and monitoring planning, and statistical and geospatial analysis. She received her B.A. in Natural Resources Management and Policy from Cornell University, M.A. in Conservation Biology and Applied Ecology from Frostburg State University, and Ph.D. in Fisheries Biology from West Virginia University. Dr. Rizzo is joining us most recently from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, where she worked as a Fish and Wildlife Biologist – Natural Resources Planner for National Wildlife Refuges.
Emily Harris’ background is in policy and communications with special expertise in the water sector. She received her B.A. in Environmental Studies from Washington College and her Master of Science and Law with a specialty in Environmental Law from the University of Maryland Carey School of Law. Emily was previously a Policy and Communications Specialist at ShoreRivers, a nonprofit organization focused on policies and projects that protect and restore waterways along Maryland’s Eastern Shore.
